Develop policies, strategies, and legislation related to drug affairs, related crime patterns, and methods of combating them.
Follow up on treatment and rehabilitation of addicts in coordination with relevant authorities.
Coordinate with relevant authorities to monitor, inspect, and track people, goods, and means of transport to combat the entry or exit of drugs.
Coordinate with relevant authorities to monitor medical and pharmaceutical facilities to prevent the unlawful sale or dispensing of medicines containing narcotic or psychotropic substances.
Launch and organize initiatives and awareness campaigns on combating drugs and highlighting their harmful effects on individuals and society.
Hisn Service
A community service that enables members of society to report drug crimes or related activities, and helps families recognize signs of substance use among their members so the Authority can support recovery from addiction. All calls to the Hisn service are handled with complete privacy and confidentiality.
